Type a name and watch it written the way our students learn to write it — one stroke at a time, in the right order, on the same 米字格 practice paper. Nothing you type leaves your browser.
What you just watched is 音譯 — your name written with characters chosen for their sound. It is what a Chinese newspaper would print, and it is genuinely how Michael becomes 麥可.
A Chinese name is a different thing. It is chosen for what it means, usually alongside a Chinese surname, and a good one carries something a family wants for the child. That is not something a web page can pick for you — it is the kind of thing our teachers help a student choose in their first term.
